In Honor of the
Inauguration of the
President of the United
States of America
This
event at the Corcoran
Gallery of Art brings together leaders from non profit
organizations, along with corporate executives and policy
makers, and special invited guests from the White House and the
United States Congress who recognize and promote a mindset
favoring ICT digital literacy initiatives and the possibilities that
Information and Communication Technologies can improve the
quality of life in the 21st Century.
ICT Digital Literacy
is the new literacy of the 21st Century. Digital literacy
will ensure that all citizens, workers, and students are
ready for the global economy where digital literacy skills
are critical to the nation's ability to compete successfully
in a global information and knowledge society. An
understanding and mastery of digital literacy will ensure
that global citizens are able to compete for 21st Century
jobs, to participate in services such as e-government and
e-medicine, and enable all to more effectively use
information and communication technologies (ICT) to address
environmental issues and
Green ICT solutions worldwide.
The event is
hosted by the LINK AMERICAS Foundation (LAF), The
Alliance for Public Technology (APT), and The Children's
Partnership (TCP).

non-profit organizations involved in Information and
Communication Technologies (ICT) for applications in
education, e-government, health, entertainment, and
environment with interest in advancing ICT Digital Literacy
skills for 21st Century learning, Science, Technology,
